DABS Forensic Ltd is a UK Company with highly experienced forensic experts Ken Linge and Ron Cook whose combined forensic skills enable the company to provide professional independent forensic evidence. Additionally Peter Whent with many years of investigative expertise provides crime scene investigation training, investigator training, independent advice as well as conducting investigations.
DABS Forensic Ltd was formed in 2000 to fulfil a need in the UK for fast, efficient, independent professional services in:

Our Experts
DABS Forensic Ltd includes some of the most experienced UK Senior CID Officers who between them have been involved in investigating every type of crime from minor damage to murder, throughout the world. Their considerable experience in crime scene and investigative techniques has established DABS as a unique and valuable service internationally. The DABS recognised experts are equal to any challenge in the private or public sector as exampled by facial mapping forensic expert Ken Linge who has provided forensic evidence in over 450 Court cases.

Ken is a unique forensic expert with a Master of Science degree in facial mapping a qualification no longer achievable in the UK and:
- Is registered with NPIA (National Policing
Improvement Agency)
- Is registered with CRFP (Council for the registration
of forensic practitioners)
- Was a member of the Home Office Advisory Group to
ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers)
- Was a member of the Home Office Working Group
on Digital Imaging
- Has many years of experience in the development of forensic facial identification by image comparison
- Has over 45 years of experience as a photographer with
16 years spent as the Head of the Essex Police
Photographic Department
- Has trained Scenes of Crime Officers in
photographic techniques
- Trains Crime Scene Investigation Officers, internationally
in photographic techniques

Ron is a highly experienced fingerprint expert recognised
worldwide and:
- Is registered with CRFP (Council for the registration of
forensic practitioners)
- Was a CRFP Lead Assessor for 7 years
- Recognised Worldwide as a qualified fingerprint expert
- Was Detective Inspector in Scenes of Crime
- Spent 24 years of his 30 years Police service in
Crime Scene Investigation
- Was Crime Scene Manager in Serious Crime for over 8 years
- Served two years with the Royal Cayman Islands Police, establishing and managing Force Fingerprint Bureau and Crime Scene/Photographic Department
- Has attended over 400 Crime Scenes as Crime Scene Investigator/Manager
- Was seconded to the Metropolitan Police Forensics Laboratory
- Was Secretary of the UK South East region Scenes of
Crime Officers Conference
- Is part-time academic tutor at the London South Bank University for the MSc and BSc Forensic Science
